  • This is a modified 1 rep max version of the Bear Complex (Power Clean, Front Squat, Push Press/Jerk, Back Squat, Push Press/Jerk).
  • This workout is 10 Minute EMOM/AMRAP.
  • At the top of each minute the athlete will be allowed to move on to the next bar.
  • Once you fail you will sprint up to the next level on the hill and perform DU’s until the rest of your 10 minutes are up. Scaled division will do single unders.
  • Your Double Unders score will be the tie break for the barbell complex ladder.

Standards

  • Any style of clean, press, or jerk is allowed.
  • Competitors are also allowed to squat clean then perform a thruster into a back squat and finally into a thruster from behind.
  • Snatches are not allowed.
  • Athletes are required to pass through a full depth front squat (hip crease below knees), into full locked out overhead (open knees, hips, arms), into a full depth back squat, and into a full locked out overhead without letting go of the barbell.
  • If a no rep is received the athlete will have to repeat that portion of the complex and then continue through the complex. Unless the athlete lets go of the barbell then the entire complex must be repeated within that minute.
  • If the barbell is dropped from above the hips it will be a no repetition. In the scaled division, if the first three barbells are dropped at all it will be a no repetition.
